2026 Book Club Picks & Subscriptions

Are you ready for some lit fic?

Dear Reader,

Happy new year? Things remain extremely Not Great in the world, but books still exist, and for that we are grateful.

We have some big news for our most devoted book clubbers.* First, we know what book we're reading every month until next year! No more wondering for you, and no more last-minute panicking for Kate. The list of books, along with links to learn more, can be found below.

Second, we are now offering two subscription options for the book club books. A 2026 subscription goes from February through January 2027** and costs $200. (That's roughly a 15% discount over paying the cover prices.) You can also purchase the next 6 months' worth of books at any time for $100. If all goes well and there are no distributor mishaps, you'll always be able to pick up your copy of the next month's book at the current month's meeting.

Want to read all these books but don't want to socialize about it? You can still order a subscription! We'll notify you when each book comes in and hold it for pick up. (We regret that we do not have the staff or organizational skills to offer shipping.)

Copies of Helen of Nowhere will be (🤞🏼) available at our January meeting: Sunday the 11th, 5:30 p.m., at Charmers Cafe. Future dates will be announced as soon as we’ve cleared them all with the lovely folks at Charmers.

Ready to order? Here, have a button. Have two.

*Specifically, literary fiction book clubbers. That's currently our only club, but stay tuned for a nonfiction one.

**Or, if you don't have a copy of Sand-Catcher yet and would like one, you can do January through December 2026. Just email [email protected], and we'll have one ready for you along with your copy of Helen of Nowhere.
